Souls Delight Ketubah (Gilded) - $995 *special order only*
by Melissa Dinwiddie

Description:

(Is your wedding more than 4 weeks away? You can pay in installments – just ask!)

Due to the custom hand-gilding on this ketubah, please allow 4 extra weeks for ordering.

The essence of elegant simplicity, Soul's Delight is a stunning example of calligraphy as an art form. Gilded by hand in either 23kt gold or silver-tone leaf, words from the Song of Songs form a medallion at the top – "I have found the one in whom my soul delights" – and a teardrop shape at the bottom – "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." The ketubah text, hand written in masterful calligraphy, is gently curved to reflect the curves of the decorative elements. Texts and signature lines are all identical to Soul's Delight (Colors).

For more images & info, click on the pink buttons in brackets: [Colors], [Texts], [Enlarge], [Detail], [?], etc.

Note: ketubah at left is shown "personalized" (ie, filled in with the wedding couple's names, wedding date and location). You must pay the personalization charge to have your ketubah filled in.

Please note: Photos just don't do the gilding justice. Also, although the paper appears gray in the silver tone pictures, it is actually white.

"Dear Melissa, Thank you so much for the beautiful ketubah. Not only will our piece add so much to our wedding day, but it will also then find a special place in our home. We love the look as well as the quality of the work. Everything about the process was easy and made this one part of the wedding a breeze. The proof allowed us to make sure it would all be correct and the care instructions were a lifesaver. Thanks for everything! -Thalia (Arlington, VA)"
