Tree of Life Ketubah - $325
by Melissa Dinwiddie

Description:

(Is your wedding more than 4 weeks away? You can pay in installments – just ask!)

A tree of life stands on a hill, wrapped with a blue ribbon that proclaims (in Hebrew) "I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine." Jerusalem appears in the distance, and a river flows by. Grapes and lilies – images from the Song of Songs – grow on the hill, along with sunflowers and irises. The sun shines on the right, and the sky darkens into night, with a crescent moon and stars, representing the passage of time.

Note: ketubah at left is shown "unpersonalized" (ie, NOT YET filled in with the wedding couple's names, wedding date and location). You must pay the personalization charge to have your ketubah filled in.

"Melissa, Our ketubah is the most stunning piece of artwork on our walls. It blew people away at the wedding & continues to do so whenever we have guests. Sometimes when I read it, I still get tears in my eyes. The pomegranates on the tree and the irises surrounding the tree hold more meaning for us that you can imagine. Which is in addition, of course, to the tree of life itself, and the lovely interfaith gender nuetral wording, that perfectly fit our interfaith lesbian wedding, and its themes. Lots of luck & love to you! -Samantha (Georgetown, TX)"
