Ketubah Lithographs and Giclée Prints

Now you can own a museum-quality ketubah print for a fraction of the price of an original commissioned ketubah.

Due to consistent demand for printed versions of my original ketubot, I have created a line of fine art ketubah prints. Click on a thumbnail image for more information about that ketubah.

You can place your order right online. If you'd like me to personalize ("fill in") your ketubah with your names, wedding date, etc., once I receive your order I'll email you a questionnaire to collect all of your personalization information, for filling in the blanks on the ketubah.

Standard turnaround time for a personalized ketubah is 3-8 weeks, although I can usually accommodate rush orders as well. Be sure to call if you need your ketubah sooner!

Fine Art Ketubah Print vs. Original Commissioned Ketubah

Just like my custom commissioned ketubot, each fine art ketubah print starts out as a blank piece of paper. I create the artwork in a variety of media — from collage to watercolor to Medieval illumination. Lithographs have hand calligraphed texts, while giclée prints feature exclusive fonts digitized from my calligraphy.

The completed artwork and/or calligraphy are scanned and combined on the computer, and from there multiple copies of each version are produced with lightfast inks on acid-free, archival paper, either via offset lithography or the giclée process. I print my giclée ketubot to order, one at a time, while the lithograph ketubot feature gold foil stamping or lasercutting. On lithograph ketubot, all personal information is lovingly added by hand in calligraphy ("personalization"), while on giclée ketubot your info is seamlessly integrated in calligraphy-based fonts. In either case, the entire text looks as if it were written in one sitting, and the lettering is warm and alive — an integral part of the artwork.

My ketubah prints are truly the work of my own hands, and retain the mark of the maker. Yet because it is possible to sell many copies of each ketubah print, the price of a fine art ketubah print is many times less than for an original commission. You get a piece of fine art at an affordable price.

Meticulous Design: "This Can't Be a Print!"

Because of the care I take in designing each piece, and the superior quality of the printing, my ketubah lithographs and giclée prints are invariably mistaken for original artworks. My Tree of Life ketubah print looks so much like the original collage that when I exhibit my work I have to convince viewers over and over again that it is actually a print. Only on close inspection do they believe it is ink on paper! This same scenario occurs every time my fine art ketubah prints are displayed.
