A corner of the Garden of Eden is conceptualized here as a summer flower garden, blooming with sunflowers, daisies and asters, lilies, foxgloves, irises, and more. Butterflies, bees and moths flit among the blossoms, and ladybugs climb the leaves. Beneath the flowers are inscribed the words from the Song of Songs, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine,” in both English and Hebrew (or you may choose to have your names inscribed here by hand instead).
The entire scene is rendered in collage, with so much dimension and shadow that it could be called a paper sculpture. The text, printed in my exclusive calligraphic fonts, woven in and among the flowers, completes this compelling design. Scroll down for additional views.
